Nothing Like Grandma's Fudge

“It’s just not Christmas without Grandma’s fudge.”  My mom swears my brother said this one year.  We don’t remember him saying that, but fast forward to current times and I can assure you “Grandma’s fudge” is definitely a family tradition at my house.  When I asked my mom for the recipe a number of years ago, she referred me to the recipe on the side of the Fluff container – so, not exactly a family secret, but it’s a yummy, fun treat our whole family looks forward to at the holidays.

Each year, we make milk chocolate, white chocolate, and butterscotch varieties.  Then, we package it up and try to give as much of it away as possible to prevent us from eating it all!  This year, my 14 year old was super sweet and made sure to help me with the whole process, so we could make two batches simultaneously.  He even stuck with it when he was challenged to a Fortnight battle by his brother, so he could preserve our mother-son time.  And that’s the sweetest part of the whole tradition.
