Our Favorite Autumn Activities
Looking for Fall activities to enjoy now that summer has come and gone? Fall is an excellent time to be outdoors as the temperature is crisp and cool. It’s also a beautiful time for hiking and walking in the woods. You don’t have to wait for the leaves to change color to enjoy the scenery now. Other outdoor Fall activities include apple picking, hay rides, and going through a corn maze. Spending time on the beach on a Fall day is also delightful, as the beach is not crowded like on the summery days. The cool weather is not for swimming, but having a picnic on the beach will be one of the best kept fall activities. On the food front, autumn is the harvest season and a great start to cooking hearty meals such as a roast or stews. You can find fresh produce at the farmers’ market and this is the season when root vegetables are abundant. Baking apple pies, apple crisps, or apple cakes is also on top of the Fall to-do list. Below are some of our favorite autumn activities.
