My Favorite Food Products

Here I’m sharing with you some of my favorite food items.  These items can help make dinner a bit tastier, a meal a bit more special, or provide easy and convenient snacking.  A few items are newly discovered, while some have been long time favorites.

Victoria Taylor’s Herbes de Provence

This is by far my favorite Herbes de Provence.  I discovered the Victoria Taylor brand by chance.  I picked up a jar of their Herbes de Provence from a local Homegoods store and the rest is history.  I use this for seasoning meats, poultry, and vegetables for roasting, as well as in salad dressing.  You can get them at Victoria Gourmet at www.vgourmet.com.  They sell all sorts of herbs and spices.

Rao's Marinara Sauce_Menu4living.com.jpg

RAO’S Homemade Marinara Sauce

When I don’t have time to make red pasta sauce from scratch, I use Rao’s marinara sauce.  I always have a jar or two in my pantry for an emergency.  This sauce is great for all pastas and I just add ground meat, poultry or sausages to make a quick meal.  It’s on the expensive side for sauces, but you can get a good deal at Costco.

Cadbury Milk Chocolate_Menu4living.com.jpg

Cadbury Milk Chocolate Bar

I was introduced to Cadbury milk chocolate about twenty five years ago by an English work colleague.  The Cadbury chocolates taste creamy and have the right balance of chocolate and milk for me.  I stock a few bars in my pantry at all times.  I snack on them when I’m in the mood for chocolate.  I also use them when we make s’mores at home.

Belgium Waffle Mix_Menu4living.com.jpg

William Sonoma Bellegem Waffle Mix

I have tried other recipes and mixes for Belgium waffles and this Bellegem waffle mix is my favorite.  The waffles come out light, crisp, and fluffy every time.  I made these waffles and served for brunch to my past houseguests and the waffles have always been popular.

Enjoy Life Cookies_Menu4living.com.jpg

Enjoy Life Products

Enjoy Life brand makes great food allergy-friendly products.  All their products are free of gluten, wheat, peanuts, treenuts, dairy, soy, egg, shellfish, and other well-known allergens.  Here I’m showing the crunchy chocolate chip cookies.  The company produces a variety of products including chocolate candies, assorted cookies, breakfast bars, baking mixes, and more.  If you or your family member has food allergies, this brand will be a life saver.

Yosi Wheat Tortilla Chips_Menu4living.com.jpg

Yosi Kitchen Wheat Tortilla Chips

Candice discovered these delicious wheat tortilla chips and introduced them to us.  I love having these chips with guacamole or hummus. I also enjoy them plain.  You can find these at Big Y or Whole Food Markets.
